6 Awards for Best NEMO Student Posters.

During NEMO’s Scientific Networking Meeting at FZK, Karlsruhe, a poster session was organized. More than 90 posters were highlighting joint research work carried out in the framework of NEMO. Six students were honored with an award for the Best NEMO Student Networking Poster. Their posters presented existing scientific results from collaboration between NEMO partners.

The awarded posters were:
- “Evaluation of the optical bridge benchmark” Lieven Desmet
- “Theoretical and experimental investigations of birefringent holey fibers for hydrostatic pressure measurements” Marcin Szupulak
- “Light emitting and detecting integrated platform with applications for various sensors and interferometric systems” Jerzy Krezl
- “Tomographic inspection of refractive index changes in gamma irradiated fibres” Pawel Kniazewski
- “Deep lithography with protons to prototype pluggable micro-optical out-of-plane coupling structures for multimode waveguides” Jürgen Van Erps
- “Photo-patternable hybrid sol-gel coatings for micro-optics” Janyce Franc
