| Job description | 2 PhD students to work on the following projects : Project 1 comprises fabrication and characterization of an optical microsystem based on electro-wetting. This optical system will allow both lateral positioning and tuning of the focal length of liquid micro-lenses. Project 2 comprises design, fabrication and characterization of a membrane-based tunable achromatic optical system. The system may be used as a tunable lens or for introducing controlled aberrations to a imaging optical system. |
