Our Services
NEMO targets to collaborate with European companies and to leverage their competitiveness. Therefore NEMO consists of six service and technology centres which are accessible to academic research institutes, SME’s and large companies.
The six service and technology centres offer assistance, guidance and consulting at all levels of the micro-optics technology food-chain. NEMO assists industry with
- know-how to optimize existing products;
- developing novel concepts;
- advice on fabrication processes and standardization.
NEMO organises an industrial workshop: “Micro-optics: benefits for industry” during which each centre gives a short overview of its activities.
Examples of activities are:
- benchmarking of software tools, of fabrication technologies, of instrumentation;
- providing multi-project wafer runs;
- interfacing technologies, software tools, instrumentation;
- inventorying existing technologies, software tools, characterization instrumentation, packaging infrastructures;
- providing dedicated and intensive in-company training;
- organising summer schools.
The Service and Technology Centres are distributed in following scopes of the micro-optics technology food-chain:
