Description

The CNRS-LPN laboratory is one of the French national centres for nanoscience and nanotechnology located in the Paris south area and is composed of 80 permanent research and technical staff. Technical support includes III-V semiconductors epitaxy (MOCVD, MBE) tools, advanced nanofabrication facilities (among which e-beam lithography and focused ion beam lithography) and device processing and characterization equipments (TEM, AFM etc).
The group of Nanotechnology and Microfluidic Devices involved in this work is active in the following areas: i) new methods of nanofabrication for mass production, including nanoimprint, nanocompression, soft lithography, etc. ii) microfluidic devices including automatic cell sorter, DNA chips and various on-chip optical components, and finally, iii) new applications in physics, chemistry and biology.
